Health is one of the few things that impacts every area of our life. Being healthy gives you more energy, better mental focus, less pain, fewer illnesses, and the ability to experience more of life’s joys. While Coach Mike enjoys working with young athletes, he finds even greater fulfillment in helping a mother or father get healthy for their family. Without attention to our health, our “battery” is half full. Many people don’t realize they have ten times more of themselves to give because their energy has been drained for so long.
At Immortal Power, we will help you live the fullest and best life possible. Getting healthy doesn’t mean sacrificing tasty foods or spending two hours in the gym every day. The goal of health is to maximize our life from top to bottom. In our consultation meeting, we outline our general approach to health and wellness, then tailor it to your individual needs. Together, we build a comprehensive plan designed to get you as healthy as possible.
Coach Mike’s personal training style doesn’t involve yelling at you to eat better and train harder. The most important thing in staying healthy is understanding why you are making these changes (not why someone else wants you to), knowing what the steps and process are to achieve your desired results, and building good habits. We focus on building healthy habits that can last a lifetime. Quick weight loss may be possible by simply “suffering through it,” but without habits that support lasting change, results won’t stick. Being healthy isn’t a number on the scale but is reflected in how you live your life. Someone is healthy not because of their body fat percentage but because they have the daily habits of a healthy person (exercising, eating well, staying hydrated, and getting good sleep).
